The Action MS “Walk for MS” is about school communities taking steps to beat multiple sclerosis and learning a sense of citizenship as well as developing caring attitudes. The sponsored walks are staged at various venues around the country and are now recognised as one of the most successful charity projects in Northern Ireland. If you are interested in finding out more about the Action MS schools programme please do not hesitate to contact us.

"When I was a schoolteacher it was always great fun to get out and about with pupils. This usually happened in the summer and the buzz and excitement gave us all a lift. Now as Action MS Patron I find those memories come flooding back when I meet hundreds of children who have taken part in the “Walk for MS” events across the region. Their enthusiasm and sense of achievement is great to see. It is such a positive and well-rounded experience for them as well as a welcome break from the classroom! Indeed it is a lesson in caring that I hope will continue to have an influence for good as they grow up and when school days are a distant memory."
